50 km: no checkpoints (CP) with support. the 50 km turn-around is the Beachburg Arena.
100 km/150 km: checkpoint at the 50 km mark (provincial bridge).
There are some grocery/convenience stores to stop at, which are marked on the route link.
150km: Tentative Turn-around is the Art brulant cafe in shawville (see route)

We cannot control the conditions of the course.
Muskrat Lake portion is roughly 10km long and can vary from hardpack to very soft.
The skidoo trail is an OFSC (ontario snowmobile trail) and is operated by the ofsc during the winter months.
It is open to skidoo traffic and other traffic.
the trail is mostly rail grade
***Cell coverage is 65% or greater throughout the course.
Expect windswept lake conditions, gravel roads (snow/dirt mix) and rail trail groomed by the ofsc. lots of open country, with wind being your friend or worst enemy out there.
100km event is 50km out/in (3.5km past the provincial bridge and back)
150km event is an out/in route passing through shawville twice
